MFAThis month, the entire Middle School visited the Museum of Fine Arts to view art related to topics they will study or have covered in Social Studies this year. This trip was impactful to all our 6th to 8th graders as they observed wonderful paintings from artists like Monet, visited Ancient Egyptian tombs, and got to see Mesopotamian artifacts up close.
The 8th grade viewed many paintings that challenged the aristocratic rule of the Middle Ages. They also previewed scenes of resistance and progress that they will be studying this year through their units on the Reformation, Enlightenment, and Mesoamerica while making connections that will be utilized in the development of their plays with Mr. Jorge Arce.
