Our 7th grade students completed their research essays on different topics related to immigration. Students designed and built their visual presentations for their exposition “Cruzando fronteras/Crossing Borders” on Thursday, December 20th.
It was a night to learn from our students about the different dimensions and impact of immigration and immigration policies, and to celebrate all the hard work students invested in these projects!
The 8th grade students explored the themes of social justice, civility, gender, language, and power.
Students produced podcasts related to the themes and presented them on December 20th at the “Voces cívicas/Civic Voices” exhibit to our school families and community.
