We celebrated Black History Month with an all-school assembly on Thursday. PK102 got a shout-out for all students wearing their Jaguar colors and t-shirts! The entire community enjoyed a special presentation from Steph Davis,
a Marimbist and Cultural Activist, where we learned about the marimba and enjoyed songs like Lift Every Voice and Sing. We thank the Boston Celebrity Series for supporting us with this event, as well as our choral and instrumental team of Sharon Hamel, Chris Hernández, and Gerardo Rivas. Celebramos el Mes de la Herencia Afroamericana con una asamblea escolar el jueves. ¡PK102 recibió un reconocimiento porque un 100% de sus estudiantes llevaban los colores y camisetas de jaguar! Toda la comunidad disfrutó de una presentación especial de Steph Davis,
marimbista y activista cultural, donde aprendimos sobre la marimba y disfrutamos de canciones como "Lift Every Voice and Sing".
