Third graders learned about light and sound, exploring key concepts and the inventions of figures like Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell. They studied how these inventors' work with light, sound recording, and the telephone impacted communication and daily life.
To reinforce their learning, students used the writing process—planning, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing—to research an inventor and create informative newspaper articles. This project allowed them to share their knowledge and develop valuable research and writing skills.
L@s alumn@s de tercer grado aprendieron sobre la luz y el sonido, explorando conceptos clave y los inventos de figuras como Thomas Edison y Alexander Graham Bell. Estudiaron cómo el trabajo de estos inventores con la luz, la grabación de sonido y el teléfono impactó la comunicación y la vida diaria.
Para reforzar su aprendizaje, l@s estudiantes utilizaron el proceso de escritura (planificación, redacción, revisión, edición y publicación) para investigar a un@ inventor@ y crear artículos informativos para el periódico.
